Bridget Bones is a special 8-year-old girl who’s made incredible progress since coming into our care. She came to us extremely anxious and reactive — trembling at the idea of going outside and unsure of new people. But thanks to patient guidance and structured e-collar training, she’s learning how to feel safe and make better choices. The e-collar has been a game changer for Bridget. It’s used as a communication tool to help her stay focused and grounded when she’s overstimulated. It’s helped reduce her reactivity, build her confidence, and ease her anxiety — and she’s truly thriving because of it. She’s still a work in progress, especially around other dogs and small animals, but she’s trying so hard. She now enjoys peaceful car rides, weekly trips to the office, and even patio outings (as long as there are no dogs nearby). She’s recently started seeking out affection from new people — including male coworkers — and even gave kisses!Bridget’s favorite thing in the world is snuggling. She’ll gently tuck her head under your chin, close her eyes, and completely relax. It’s pure love. She’s looking for an experienced adopter who can continue her training and support her with patience and consistency. A calm, pet-free, child-free home (or one with very dog-savvy kids 12+) would be the best fit.Bridget is loving, loyal, and ready for her forever person — someone who will celebrate how far she’s come and help her keep growing.
