Birthday: September 1, 2024 Location: Lewistown, PA We all could use a little something in our lives ! That's why Bruce is here to supply you with extra toes! Bruce is a polydactyl kitty, and he is one of several kitties who were brought to LCCR to find loving homes. Their original owner moved out many months prior to their rescue, only returning ever few weeks to supply the cats with water and food. Then they just stopped coming to feed them. Distraught, the four cats would jump up on the door and windows whenever they heard a noise from outside. They were locked inside the home and could only hope that someone would notice them. Thankfully, the day came when a neighbor heard them from outside. They posted their story to Facebook, and rescuers swiftly sprung into action. Once they were captured, the kitties were taken to the vet for medical treatment. Miraculously, their x-rays and bloodwork showed them to be rather healthy with the exception of malnourished. Their foster made sure to feed them a nutritious diet until they were at a healthy weight. Now you wouldn't be able to tell that they went through that horrendous experience! Like Batman, Bruce is a superhero when you least suspect it! Unlike the alter ego, he is charming, sweet, and incredibly friendly! He loves to be pet whenever you offer some and can't seem to get enough of treats! He'd play all day if he could, and he doesn't mind when you pick him up!  Bruce also has another physical attribute that stands out, his ears! They turn toward each other in such an adorable way! It really makes his stand out from the crowd! This was the result of an old injury, but fear not! They won't get any worse, but they will always stay in the current shape they are in. The only thing he asks from his future family is to keep up with his flea prevention because he's allergic to them! We think that's a fair deal! No one wants fleas!
