Buck has one question. That question is, are you his new family? He was surrendered with no information of his background. However, he is thriving and looking forward to a home and family that will be for him. We do not know the circumstances, but it appears he was cared for and trained in his first home. Buck is a mixed breed boy at 8 months old and 49 lbs., this playful and clever boy is still very much a puppy at heart. He has a bit more growing to do and it is estimated that he will be a large dog of somewhere over 60 pounds when fully grown. Buck is a friend to all! Although a bit bashful at first, he gets along famously with dogs, cats, and kids, greeting everyone with a wagging tail. Although he is known for chasing livestock and poultry, so it is best he forever family does not have any. Buck does well walking on a leash and crate trained. Buck is currently working on his house-training skills. He enjoys rides in the car and will sit for treats. Buck is a smart and lovable boy. While he will likely grow into a large dog, his sweet and gentle nature will make him a wonderful companion for anyone ready for puppy antics and big dog snuggles.Like all rescue dogs, Buck needs a patient and loving home to help him adjust and learn. He is looking for a family who can offer plenty of playtime, cuddles, and guidance as he blossoms into the amazing dog, we know he can be.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Buck is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
