Meet Bucky, a male American bully who was born on September 17, 2021. He is 58lbs of love. His current owner describes his personality as confident, independent, and playful. He is loyal to his family and he’ll seek out attention when he wants it. Bucky is great with kids of all ages and is friendly with strangers. While he tolerates cats, he’s not fond of sharing food, treats, or toys with other dogs. When bored, he can get destructive, but he does well when provided with toys to keep him entertained. Bucky is well-behaved and listens well, though he’s fearful of loud noises and busy streets. He enjoys active play and requires plenty of exercise. Bucky's ideal home would be one where he’s the only dog, allowing him to get all the attention he desires. Bucky loves cuddling, playing, going on walks and lounging. He does best with beds that aren’t too fluffy, as he tends to destroy soft ones quickly. He’s a licker and loves to snuggle up with you.  Bucky's current owner states that he is crate-trained and usually spends time in the backyard. When left alone for extended periods, they provide puppy pads for him. He can be aggressive around food, treats, or toys when other dogs are present and he pulls strongly on the leash. He would do best with an experienced owner who will continue to work with training to curb these behaviors. Bucky had no known medical issues. He is neutered and is up to date with Vaccines and checkups at Nutley Animal hospital.
