MEET BUMBLE BEE!Bumble Bee is a 10-week-old male rat available for adoption in our Brewster location. He is currently under-socialized and may be shy or nervous when first handled, so he will need a patient adopter willing to spend time building trust and confidence. He can go home on his own or as part of a pair, depending on your preferences and setup. While he may take some extra time to warm up, with consistent, gentle interaction he has great potential to become a friendly companion. Prior to adopting a rat or any other small animal, we will need to approve a photo of the enclosure you plan to house them in set up in your home (including bedding, huts, chew toys, etc.) For rats, the minimum cage size we require is 2 ft x 2 ft x 1 ft per rat.
