*Buster can be adopted now, but will need to wait until December 22nd to go to his new home! Meet Buster — born October 27, 2025, and weighing 3 lbs 5 oz, this lively little pup is full of spunk and determination! About Buster's Breed: Our best guess is that Buster is a Shih Tzu mix. Shih Tzus are affectionate, loyal, and charming little dogs that make excellent companions. They are known for their long, flowing coats, gentle personalities, and adaptability to different living environments. Because of their small size and moderate exercise needs, Shih Tzus thrive in apartments or houses where they can enjoy short walks and plenty of indoor time. Their ideal home is one that provides consistent grooming, a calm environment, and lots of companionship, as they love being close to their humans. Shih Tzus do well with families, singles, or older adults, especially in households that appreciate their affectionate nature and don’t mind a bit of regular coat care. Buster is affectionately nicknamed the “bulldozer” of the litter—he’s the loudest of the boys and the first to dive headfirst into the food bowl, making sure he gets his share by nudging his siblings out of the way. His playful energy shines when he’s chewing on his favorite blue puppy bone or wrestling with the purple octopus toy. Tug-of-war with his sisters is one of his favorite games, and he always brings a burst of excitement to playtime. Buster’s Highlights: Strong personality , bold and determined Food lover , first to the bowl every time Playful pup , adores his chew bone and purple octopus Energetic sibling , loves tug-of-war with his sisters Tiny powerhouse , weighing just 3 lbs 5 oz Buster may be small, but he’s full of confidence and charm. With his lively spirit and playful antics, he’s sure to be the center of attention and a joyful addition to his forever family.
