    My name is Buttercup and I was named after a sweet-smelling flower. I didn’t get a chance to know my mother, so my fosters bottle fed me from only a few days old. I’ve been purring from my first week and I haven’t stopped. I’m very excited and full of energy. I play hard with the other kitty friends and the fosters. I love the freedom to run around and jump or climb on everything. There’s not many places that I can’t get to, even when I’m not supposed to. I love the attention from others and appreciate someone being in the room for company. Like other cats, I’ll ignore you until I’m hungry, bored or tired, but when you leave and close a door, I’ll tell you. I’m still a kitten so I’m still doing a lot of growing.
