Name:  Buttery        Best Guess for Breed:  Lab mix Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of February 2026      SEX:   Female  Approximate Weight:   36 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter – needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Buttery is Looking For:   Her forever home! This young pup wants to see the world and is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up – and to make pup pals along the way. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And she’ll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know she’s safe and loved. In exchange she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she’s storing up, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Buttery the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once she has spent time in foster care.
