My name is Caroline and I am a loving, 5 month old, 50 pound, German Shepherd mix. Be prepared to let my dark soulful eyes melt your heart!   I put my heart and soul into everything that I do, from playing fetch with the kids, relaxing with my foster mom in front of the TV or going on a walk. I have a moderate energy level, and honestly just enjoy spending time with my person! Wait…I forgot to mention that I love the water!!  I get to play in my foster mom's pool..the best is chomping at the water when it gets splashed. I do really well with other dogs; I currently live with a German Shepherd and a Border Collie, but if you want me to be the center of attention for all the bellyrubs you want to give me, I'll do great as an only dog also. I have 3 loose cats in my home and I'm learning that good things happen when I don't chase them. I just want to play but being the silly felines they are, they don't like to play. I do well in my crate, but I usually sleep by my foster mom's bed or in her bed when she lets me. I'm in the chewing phase of my puppyhood, so I need an appropriate chew toy or the corner edge of the door maybe too tasty for me to ignore. You can usually find a Lamp Chop stuffy in my mouth as I wander about. I'm still working on potty training but my foster mom says I'm a fast learner. My foster mom has been working with me on basic training and I already know "sit", "down", "place", "come", and "off". I'm told I need to get better walking on a leash but work on it everyday.  If you would like to add me to your family, please reach out to your adoption coordinator.
