  Cashmere – Female DOB 9/22/2023 Domestic Short Hair – Gray Tabby Cashmere is a very sweet girl who loves people and loves the attention when she can get it.  She's has lovely soft fur, and an equally precious face.  She ended up at the southern shelter when her southern owner passed away.  She was pretty plump, but not pregnant, and diagnosed with a rare false pregnancy.  She still looks a little overweight, so don't let her sweet talk you into giving her lots of fattening treats.   She’s not clingy and not demanding… more like a quiet roommate who enjoys company but doesn’t need to be the center of it.  The one thing she does insist on though is being your only kitty in your home where she doesn't like to share her person's attention with anyone else.  Once she settles in, she likes to sit on your lap, and will slowly drift off to sleep while enjoying slow, soft pets while telling her how beautiful she is.  She loves to give head bumps,  and stand up to meet your hand when you reach down to pet her.   Cashmere isn’t a great match for chaotic environments, but she would probably be ok with older children only,  and probably would prefer no dogs as well.
