Name:    Celeste        Best Guess for Breed:    Standard Poodle Best Guess for Age:    8 years as of March 2025        Gender:    female Approximate Weight:    42 Lbs Gets Along With: Other Dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but she can be tester. Currently Living At: Lucky Dog’s South Carolina rescue campus. She needs a foster or adopter to secure her freedom ride to the DC area Celeste is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweetie landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. She’s firmly closed that chapter and is eager to get her new one. The one where she gets her own humans. Where she gets to go on long sniffy walks in the neighborhood, meeting new pup and people pals – and explore the rest of the world! Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on her wish lost as well, and she wouldn’t refuse to try puppacinos and other tasty treats either. You know what, though? She’s way out of the puppy yips and as a wise, experienced dog knows what’s most important in life: Being safe and loved and under her own roof. That’s right at the top of her wish list. In exchange she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. At 42 pounds, that’s a pretty huggable snuggle buddy and a solid presence by your side. How about it? What the Rescue Campus Staff Says About Me: Celeste has low-to-medium energy and has done well with the older kids at her South Carolina foster. She would benefit from more socialization with other dogs. What My Foster Says About Me: Celeste needs a foster!
