Meet Cenizo. This sweet boy had his world turned upside down when his human family was suddenly deported. Cenizo, his mom, and his brother were left behind in the home with no plan for their care and no thought for their welfare. Thankfully, extended family stepped in to help temporarily, but they don’t have the time or resources to manage three dogs and are moving out of town. A local animal advocate learned of their situation and reached out to Worthy Dog for help. It’s a heartbreaking situation, and we want to find Cenizo the loving home he deserves, while giving his displaced family some peace of mind knowing he’s safe. Cenizo appears to be a beagle mix and has a sweet, social, and affectionate personality. He came from a loving home and has lived with young kids and other dogs. He is crate trained, and we believe he has decent leash skills. Cenizo will move to his foster home next week after being neutered, and we’ll share updates as we learn more about him.
