CEVICHE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!     Name:  Ceviche        Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd/retriever mix  Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of October 2025        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 25.2 lbs as of 10/25/25 – she is still growing!   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Special Adoption Considerations: In certain home settings — where the environment might be loud or more intense — this dog would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence. Currently Living at: DC area foster home   Ceviche is Looking For:  Her forever home! She’s eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and romps and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And she wants to know she is safe and loved. In exchange, she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she can store up, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Ceviche the one you have been seeking?   What My Foster Says About Me:  She’s making amazing progress! She was nervous her first night but she’s been settling in very well. She’s very affectionate—she absolutely loves all people and loves cuddling. She would love someone who can get her plenty of exercise. We’ve been spending a ton of time at the dog park. She likes her crate and will go right in!  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
