Please contact Courtney Nobles (courtneyn@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.sweet boy ISO fresh start and love! CHAD NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Chad and other great adoptable dogs this Saturday (Aug. 10th) from 12-2 pm at the Petco in Bailey’s Crossroads (5825 Leesburg Pike, Bailey’s Crossroads, VA 22041)!     Name:  Chad        Best Guess for Breed: Lab, retriever type Best Guess for Age: 4 years as of May 2024         SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  50 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home.   Chad is Looking For:  His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this scruffy cutie ended up in the shelter. He is eager to have his own humans to trot alongside on sniffy walks, romps in local parks, and all the adventures they can dream up! Exploring all the toys sounds great too, as well as quality kibble and a cushy dog bed.   He’s well out of the puppy yips and knows what’s most important in life, though. He wants to know he’s safe and loved and under his own roof every time the sun goes down. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and deep, faithful companionship for all his days.  The shelter says he’s really a nice boy. What do you say? Does this really nice boy get his soft landing and fresh start with you? What My Foster Says About Me:  Chad is calm and affectionate like a big teddy bear. This sweet boy thinks he is a pup and eagerly jumps on your lap for hugs and kisses!  He loves the outdoors, roaming in the back yard/park and sniffing everything! He does well on his leash, although he pulls as he is eager to smell everything. He listens though and slows down. He gets into his crate with no issues, but he much prefers to be on a comfy pillow, so he may bark or whine until he settles down. He is doing well with housing training but of course, no guarantees! He does well with our dog and patiently waits for his turn when I give them treats. He is so smart, quickly caught on to learning to sit and wait. Chad is a wonderful dog craving love and affection. Come out and meet this lovable teddy bear!  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
