Name:   Chance          Best Guess for Breed:   Retriever/Hound mix    Best Guess for Age:   10 months as of March 2025          SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   35lbs as of March 2025; he likely has a bit more to grow!   Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven’t seen Chance with kids, but he can be tested.   Currently Living at:   Shelter. Chance needs a foster or forever home!   Chance is Looking For:    A chance (no pun intended) to feel the love and security of a forever home! Chance is not that long out of puppyhood and hasn’t seen nearly enough of the world yet. He’s eager to explore it by the side of his new family. Sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up – yes, please! He’d love to make new pup pals along the way. And to go to dog school so he can show how super smart he is and get all the treats! What My Foster Says About Me:   Coming soon! We will update this section when Chance has spent some time in a foster home. He needs a foster to come up to the DC area!
