Special Consideration: Visually impaired – Chantilly Lace was found as a young kitten and brought to animal control with an upper respiratory infection, which affected her eyes. One eye was painful, so that one has been removed. Her other eye is cloudy but has partial vision. You’d never know she was hard of sight – she gets around like a champ! Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I’m Chantilly Lace , and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are better than one – consider adopting one of my super cute siblings, too! What the Shelter Says About Me: Chantilly Lace will let me (her foster when she was first found) rub her head a little, then it is time to play. She loves my dogs’ toys. Having eyes that were badly infected when she was first found does not slow Chantilly down at all. Now that her eyes are stable and she feels better, she plays like other kittens her age. She never bumps into anything so she has enough vision to get around. She follows my cat-friendly dog around. Chantilly has a great appetite; if she sees me with her food dish, she will get into her crate to eat. If she gets on our sofa, she plays a while and then starts to fall asleep. There is just something very special and different about her from all of my previous fosters. (If we didn’t have 3 dogs – I would keep her in our family.) Chantilly likes to watch me wiggle my feet and my toes. She goes to use her litter box in her crate even when she is outside playing. This is one sweet smart little girl.  What my Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.  You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together).
