Charlie is such a good boy who absolutely loves kids and always wants to be close to his people. He enjoys long walks, zooming around the yard, and settling down with a good chew toy. While he can be a little anxious when first meeting new people, he warms up quickly with a few pets and some treats — and once he does, he’s a total love bug. Charlie is potty trained and already knows how to sit and stay. He’s super smart and very food motivated, and my husband has been teaching him even more tricks!  He’s truly one of the silliest fosters we’ve ever had — such a goofball. You can see every single emotion written all over his face, and watching him try to “talk” to you is hilarious. For reasons we may never understand, he tips his food bowl over almost every time — seemingly on purpose — which always makes us laugh. We’ve gotten creative by hand-feeding him, using a slow feeder, or giving him a heavy bowl he can’t flip. Charlie is obsessed with tennis balls and would thrive with a family that loves hiking, playing outside, and staying active. He has lots of energy and would be an amazing adventure buddy. He weighs around 50–55 lbs and has a gorgeous brown, white, and tan coat with the prettiest eyes. Sometimes his lip gets caught on his teeth and it is absolutely hilarious — you can see it in one of his photos!
