Critter Details

Charlie Boy is one of those yummy small dogs that when you pick him up and feel his silky soft fur and have him lean into your body, immediately you don’t want to ever put him down.   This gorgeous little guy with the fabulous blonde eyebrows and face is called a Shorkie.   That is a combination of Miniature Schnauzer and Yorkie.  He is only 2 years old and weighs 6-7 pounds of pure delight.  he is wonderful with other dogs and loves to play.  He is not great on recall just yet (only had him for a month) and he needs a fenced yard to run safely in.  Not good off leash yet.  He is working on being 100% housebroken and he is absolutely crate trained.  Not fond of the crate but will obediently go in.  Charlie Boy was part of an out of control breeder situation where there were 200 dogs and mostly small ones.  He came to us shy but has definitely overcome that and is now a sweet and calm little guy that welcomes new friendships from people.  He is quiet and calm when you meet him but will perk up and dance with excitement once he ‘knows’ you better.   We know this little guy has a great deal of years ahead to love someone special.  He will be a treasure and a memorable life companion that will make an impact on your life.   Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.
