Name:  Chase         Best Guess for Breed: Corgi and basset hound mix   Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of February 2025        SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:  42 lbs   Gets Along With:  Chase does well with other dogs. We haven’t seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them.    Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here.    Chase is Looking For:  Actually,. he’s looking UP to look for his forever family. Pictures do not do this absurdly adorable stubby-legged sweetie justice – you have to see him in person! Chase is a young boy, eager to trot alongside his humans on sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up, and make new pup pals along the way. Trying out all the toys, quality kibble, and a cushy dog bed are on his wish list as well. But what he wants most of all is to know he’s safe and loved and under his own roof.   In exchange, he promises to always be a loyal companion – and to always make you smile when you look down at him.
