See Cheeto’s HomepageGo to our official websiteCHEETO is such a little cutie pie. He appears to be a chiweenie (dachshund/chihuahua) type mixed breed little guy, about 6 years old and 15 pounds. Cheeto is a medium energy boy who loves his toys. He is timid with new people and in new situations, he needs some time to warm up and get used to people. Cheeto is best suited to a quiet home where he won't have to meet lots of strangers. He is housebroken and crate trained and walks well on a leash. If you'd like to meet Cheeto, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter.  All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
