This is Cherry. She’s a year old and weighs 25 pounds. She was found on the side of the road with a bloody head, unable get up. She had been shot in the forehead with buckshot, and had a broken pelvis. We also discovered that one of her front legs had been broken as well, but it had already healed. The vet suspects that she had probably been hit by a car twice in her short little life. Now she’s doing great. She’s super playful and full of character. She is healed and off of pain meds. The only time she may limp a little is if she gets to playing too rough with one of the other dogs. Even then she will only limp for a few minutes on the front leg, but otherwise you wouldn’t ever know anything was wrong with her! These pictures were about a month ago so her hair has grown back now on her head. She LOVES to steal socks. She’s the biggest sock thief I’ve ever seen. When she gets one she runs because she knows she’s not supposed to. She’s such a funny dog. She is working on housetraining and doing pretty well. She is already crate trained though. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night and never has an accident. She will whine if she needs to go out.Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.
