Hi! I’m Chico! I’m an approximately 7 year old, male, Corgi mix. I was surrendered on 06/24/2025 because my owner could not care for me. I am a friendly guy who is excited to start his new adventure. Due to high interest, meet and greets will be by approved application only. I am almost house/crate/leash trained and would benefit from a family who has the time and patience to help me become the best family companion I can be. I am currently being treated for Flea Dermatitis and have some hair loss on my back. Once my allergy to fleas has gotten under control, RAC staff anticipates that my coat will return to it’s soft and silky self. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
