Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue puppies come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Even very young puppies require significant guidance and supervision to properly learn how to navigate life in a home environment. Puppies are not automatically trained simply because they are young. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, basic structure, and socialization, adopters should expect to continue all training and development after adoption.
