See Chong (and Cheech – Bonded Pair)’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Chong (and Cheech) were adopted from Wag On Inn early last year, but have sadly been returned through no fault of their own (their previous owner is no longer able to care for them). They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.  These boys are adorable, sweet, and very loving. They love attention and love to snuggle together in a comfy bed under a blanket. They are good with other dogs (they lived with both large and small dogs) and have previously been around cats but we don't know about small kids. These boys are very mellow and fairly low maintenance (especially Chong) and would fit well in most homes. Chong has some alopecia which the veterinarian thinks may be due to genetics.  There is no active infection (no redness) nor does it seem to bother Chong at all – he does not itch nor scratch. At the time of Chong’s dental, we were able to get an x-ray of his back/spine which revealed that he has a natural curve in his spine which results in him having an arched back – it’s just part of his bone structure. This does not affect his mobility other than he does not jump (up or down) nor will he do stairs. Otherwise, he gets around fine.   The boys do not do well with leashes/harnesses, but they are trained on pee pee pads and do go outside in a fenced yard.  Please note that their age is only an estimate and we can't guarantee its accuracy. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require at minimum annual veterinary care, training, exercise, enrichment, etc … Pet care is not cheap nor easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training needed prior to adoption.  After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home. They have been fixed, microchipped and they are up to date on vaccines. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. The adoption fee for the pair is $900.   How to Adopt Me!
