Hi, I’m Christopher – an 8-year-old, 17-pound, chi/retriever mix with a light brown face, white legs, and a heart that’s slowly but surely learning how good the world can be.My buddy, Drax, and I were part of a big rescue  — almost 80 dogs and cats saved from a hoarding situation that wasn’t safe for any of us. I’m lucky to have Drax to pal around with. He's also up for adoption with our new friends at AHOTO.Truth is, I love attention once I get to know you. I am a bit nervous at first meeting but I'm almost instantly your BFF once you show me that you're a safe friend to hang out with. I get along well with other dogs and have never shown any aggression toward them. I'm certainly used to being around dogs; I was with 54 of them before my friends at AHOTO scooped me up!Now kids…they can be so loud and excitable! I get scared easily so a home with young kids probably isn't the best place for me. It's important that we all stay safe!  I am searching for a quiet home with loving people who will be patient with me as I adjust to this new world I'm living in. I'm ready to find my forever home, will you be my person?
