Notes from his foster Mom:My first view of little Chuckie was no view at all! He was totally hidden under a towel in his kennel. He was so scared and alone in the noisy shelter. At home, he immediately settled in a comfortable bed and was quiet all night.Totally ingores the cat and other dogs.Completely potty trainedWalks well on leash when he is up for it. However, the little guy was clearly not feeling well. With kennel cough, a skin infection, and no appetite, he is currently on meds and fluid to fix him all up. He tolerated his injections, hydration, by-mouth meds, and mousse cream so well.He responded immediately by lapping up some canned food, his first full meal in days. This sweet little guy is showing a whole other side of himself now that he is starting to feel better. Sits quietly in my lap, takes treats gently, and watches what goes on around him. Loves getting his head scratched and will nudge you for more if you stop…He has a 14-day regimen of meds, starting 5-23, and three days of additional fluids as he was very dehydrated. He will be up and about quickly and show himself to be a sweet, loving little character. While his age is estimated to be four, his teeth look really good so he is likely 1-2 years old.So, if you want to have the honor of nursing little Chuckie back to health and happiness, and receive his forever loving gratitude, come and meet him. He will be happy to see you. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
