Meet Cindy This special little lady is Cindy. She’s 6 years old, weighs around 10 pounds, and came to us after being used as a puppy mill momma. When her former owners no longer had use for her, she was discarded. Cindy is very sweet but quite shy. She’s still learning to trust people and can be skittish, even with her foster mom. Cindy has also successfully completed heartworm treatment and is now ready for her forever home. While Cindy goes potty outside, she does occasionally have accidents indoors but reliably uses a potty pad when she does. She’s currently learning to walk on a leash to build her confidence for outdoor pottying. Cindy also goes out with the other dogs in her foster home without any issues. Cindy would do best in a home with another dog around her size to show her the ropes and help her acclimate to her new home. She would also thrive in a child-free environment or one with older, considerate children. She’s also perfectly fine with cats. This gentle soul will need a very patient and understanding home that’s willing to give her the time and space she needs to adjust and feel comfortable at her own pace.
