I came into the rescue after being turned over with my siblings from a local reservation. We had been living outdoors and were thankful to get into rescue! I was thought to be a St. Bernard/shepard mix when I came into Ruff Start. I spent a month with my foster family in Duluth, and then was adopted by an older couple in the Twin Cities. I have recently been returned as I have more energy than they anticipated! My adopters called me Luca and I have been going by that name for 2 months now and answer to it.  I am about a 5 month old puppy and I weigh about 25lbs. I am a lover and a cuddler (when I have gotten good exercise!). I am a smart boy and I know sit and shake. I also know the command come, but I don't always come. I am still learning! I am neutered already and have age appropriate veterinary cares on board. I go in my crate to sleep at night, but would prefer to sleep in it with you nearby. I don't love being left alone, and would do well in a household with a canine companion to show me the ropes and keep me company. I am very food motivated! I am mostly potty trained and was bell trained in my last home. My current fosters are continuing that strategy and I haven't had any accidents since returning to their home. I get along really great with their resident dogs and I love them a lot!  Here’s a fun video of us all playing together! I also like all the people I have met. Cats are unknown. I seem to pay attention to birds but don't get too worked up about squirrels.  His original fosters stepped up to welcome him back after his adopters returned him. They have found him to be sweet, fun, and a little derpy. He walks well on a 6 foot leash with a harness. He has been pretty calm in the house when he has been well-exercised and can easily hike 3-5 miles a day. He has huge paws and may still have a bunch of growing to do!  Cinnamon (now Luca) is an owner surrender.
