Meet Cleo! This (former) mama cat arrived at the Shelter with her three teenagers in tow (Puma, Mitts, and Pantera). Cleo is looking for an adoptive home where she can be babied herself! She was primarily indoors in her previous home but would occasionally hang out outside. A home with a similar set up may be a fit for Cleo in the next home, or she may be just as happy as an indoor only kitty! Cleoâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s previous guardians described her as friendly, affectionate and liking to be held. They said she would be a little nervous with strangers but warms up with some patience. Cleo’s adoption fees is sponsored by the Bogey Fund – a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in the ShelterPlease note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
