Meet Clover, the always cheerful and lovable pup! This 4-year-old, 60-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix has an infectious smile and a heart full of joy. Rescued from a shelter as a tiny pup, she has grown into a healthy, happy dog and is fully up to date on all her medications, including monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. Clover is an active girl who loves going for runs and walks, but her absolute favorite pastime is playing fetch or chasing her herding ball. After a good play session, she’s happy to curl up at your feet for some well-earned rest. She also enjoys grooming (and being groomed by) our other two dogs. While she hasn’t met any cats, she does well with older kids. She would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can run and play freely. While she’s crate trained, she’s also well-behaved when left alone in a room. She knows basic commands like “sit” and “come” and is fully house-trained, though she’s also comfortable using puppy pads if needed. She’s still working on leash manners and tends to pull, but she’s a quick learner! With the recent arrival of our second baby, we’ve found ourselves unable to give Clover the time and attention she deserves. Though she adores our newborn (and loves sneaking in sniffs and kisses), we want to find her a family that can fully enjoy her energetic and loving nature. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s always ready for adventure, Clover is the perfect match.
