Here's Your Quick Peek: Busy, happy, and always ready to play – Cocoa is a high-energy companion looking for an active, cat-free home.  Please note – if you want to skip the text and go straight to the application, you can find the link here: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/ Must have: A cat free home.  Other than that, he'd do well in a lot of different home styles Exercise: Running around the house is good – but he is active and needs that run time, this is NO couch potato.  He's also does not have to have 5 mile walks.  He's got short legs – a mile will do. Best with: A loving adult home  Not ideal for: CATS – NO CATS Energy level: High for a little short guy.  Napoleon complex maybe! Cocoa is a joyful, energetic pup who thrives on activity, companionship, and being part of everything you do. He’d love a home with another playful dog and people who can keep up with his zest for life. Crate trained, social, and full of fun – but no cats, please! Good with dogs: Yes, Cocoa likes all dogs large, medium and small.  He and Romeo are the BEST buddies. Want two – they would love to go together.   Good with kids: We do not recommend kids under 10 not because of Cocoa but because kids are not always good with dogs this tiny.  He's very small.  Cats:  Nope, nada, not a good idea at all.  Cats are made for catching says Cocoa. Fun fact: Cocoa is convinced he’s management – he supervises all activity, walks through doors like he owns the place, and keeps tabs on everyone’s business. Potential Adopters   Dogs can’t drive – and since we’re busy taking care of them, we can’t either! Please check your potential BFF’s location and make sure you’re comfortable traveling to meet them.
