Meet Coconut! Breed: French BulldogAge: 2 years 8 Months Size: SmallLocation: WhitbySpayed/Neutered: YesHouse-Trained: YesGood with Dogs: Selective Coconut would do best in a home with a calm, non-reactive dog.Good with Cats: Yes (with proper introduction)Good with Kids: Yes – all agesEnergy Level: Low to moderateMedical: On a fish-based diet due to skin sensitivities PersonalityCoconut (aka the queen of cuddles) is a sweet, funny, and affectionate little Frenchie who loves attention and is full of quirky charm. She enjoys short walks, chew toys, and being the center of your world. Though she’s low-energy, she has a big personality and will keep you smiling with her endearing antics—like sitting upright like a little human just to get more love! Ideal HomeCoconut is a flexible girl who could thrive in many different living situations—city apartment, suburban home, or rural retreat—as long as she gets her regular potty breaks and plenty of affection. She’s great with people of all ages, including seniors and children, and she doesn’t need someone home 24/7—she happily snoozes in her bed when you’re out.She does best as the only pet or with a calm, passive dog. She can be dominant and gets reactive around high-energy or assertive animals. She’s also done well with cats and even chickens (though she prefers calm animals around her). Coconut’s Must-Knows Dog Parks? Not ideal — she’s dog-selective and may react to other dogs. Separation Anxiety? None! She’s happy in her cozy space when alone. Exercise Needs? Low – a short daily walk and she’s content. Training Needs? Some ongoing socialization with dogs, and gentle guidance with resource guarding (mostly food-related). Commands? She knows “sit” and tries very hard to “stay” (but she’s just so excited!). Fave Things Hard chew toys All kinds of treats (she’s not picky!) Lounging near her people Making you laugh with her classic Frenchie sass Health NotesCoconut is on a fish-based diet to help with itchy paws and possible food sensitivities. Chicken has been removed from her diet, and it seems to help. She doesn’t require any special medical care beyond diet management. Final ThoughtsCoconut is a lovable, low-maintenance companion with a big heart and even bigger personality. She’s looking for a family who’ll appreciate her quirks, give her the love she craves, and provide a calm, cozy place to call home.
