Cody is an extremely gentle and sweet boy with a heart full of love. He was found as a stray on the side of the road with his mom, keeping cool in the mud, and immediately showed how friendly and trusting he truly is. He happily accepts pets, communicates politely with little whines instead of barking, and is very food&#226&#128&#145motivated. Cody’s tail is almost always wagging, and his favorite activities are eating and napping. While he hasn’t yet learned how to play with toys or engage confidently with larger, energetic dogs, he prefers sunbathing in the yard and curling up for quiet rest. He is still learning that his crate is a safe, calm space and is adjusting to indoor living—especially now that he has discovered the comfort of a cozy couch corner. Cody would be a wonderful match for a family with gentle children who enjoy cuddles, a retired person looking for a loving companion, or someone who works from home and wants a peaceful office buddy to snooze nearby. He is a sensitive, affectionate little man ready to bring warmth and companionship to his forever home.
