      Meet Colt Davis, a four-year-old, 80 pound Bloodhound with a heart as big as his famous floppy ears. He’s fully housebroken, respectful in the home, and dedicated to sniffing absolutely everything—because, well, he’s a Bloodhound and his nose is basically his full-time job. Colt has a classic hound temperament: sweet, gentle, a little stubborn, and very smart. Outside, he follows scents with laser focus and has the deep, melodic hound bellows that come with the breed. Because of that voice, he isn’t suited for apartment or townhouse living. He’s currently settling in and decompressing, and he’s shown no signs of reactivity to other dogs. As he relaxes further, his personality will shine even more. Colt is affectionate, loves being doted on, and handled grooming beautifully—yes, even those big ears. He would thrive in a loving family home. A secure, tall, or privacy fence is a must. His nose will lead him on adventures if not well contained.
