Cooper: Golden Retriever Energy in a Cat Body Hi, I’m Cooper—and yep, I flew all the way from Qatar to find my forever family here in the Bay Area! If you’ve ever wished you could have the loyal, affectionate heart of a golden retriever in cat form, that’s me. The second you walk in the door, I’ll be there to greet you, weaving between your legs, rubbing my head on you again and again, and following you from room to room so closely that you might almost trip over me. I just always want to be near my person. At night, I’ll glue myself to your side—sometimes sleeping on your chest, sometimes using your feet as a pillow—but always touching you. If you move, I move. That’s how devoted I am. I’m a master biscuit-maker, turning your legs into my favorite kneading spot. Even during playtime, if I see an outstretched hand, I pause and melt into pets and cuddles instead. Paper bags are my toy of choice, though food is a big motivator for me too. I can be a little shy when meeting new people in big groups, but give me a quiet moment one-on-one and I warm up quickly. I’m still adjusting to some apartment noises (upstairs neighbors are strange!) but sirens and traffic don’t bother me at all. I’m affectionate, playful, and loyal—and I’d be just as happy going solo as I would with a feline friend.
