Copper is a 10-year-old Beagle with a heart as big as his soulful eyes. This sweet boy, with his classic white coat and charming brown spots, is the definition of a devoted companion. At just 32 lbs, he&#39s the perfect size for any family. Wherever you go, Copper will be happiest right by your side–he&#39s truly content just being close to his person. After spending his entire life with his previous owner who loved him dearly, Copper found his way to BarkVille Dog Rescue when his owner had to move into a retirement community that couldn&#39t accommodate pets. It&#39s been a big transition, but Copper has handled it with quiet grace and resilience. This sweet boy is perfectly house trained, wonderful with both people and other dogs, and brings a calm, easygoing presence to any home. Copper enjoys leisurely walks, car rides, and simple outings, but he&#39s just as happy curling up next to you for a cozy afternoon! Copper does have a bit of separation anxiety, but it&#39s well-managed with and he continues to thrive with routine and love. He would love a person or family who is retired, works from home, or is just home regularly. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.
