Name:   Cuba        Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age:  6 months as of July 2025        SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  29.2 lbs as of 7/6/25; he is still growing!   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Cuba is Looking For:  His forever home – he’s at the tail end of puppyhood and hasn’t seen nearly enough of the world. He’s looking forward to having his own humans to show him all of the exciting things life has to offer. Trips to parks, playdates with pup pals, and new adventures are on his to-do list! Oh, and LOTS of cuddles!Most of all, though, he wants to know he’s safe and loved. In exchange, he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he’s storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Are you ready for all those adventures with Cuba?   What My Foster Says About Me:   ‘Cuba is a confident guy who loves saying hello to other dogs and people. He is a very gentle, affectionate, and playful pup who has been getting along well with my dog (who also was a Lucky Dog!). He’s working on his commands such as ‘sit.’ Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
