DAHLIA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Dahlia and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (1/11) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Kensington (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)!   Name:  Dahlia          Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd and retriever mix Best Guess for Age:   8 months as of December 2025         SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:  30 lbs as of 12/10/25 – she is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Dahlia is Looking For:   Her forever home! This pretty brindle girl has all that awesome young-dog energy to burn and she’s eager to get her own humans for that. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures they can dream up – yes, please! Making pup pals along the way is on her wish list as well, along with quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. And at the end of a fun day together – cuddles.But most of all she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Dahlia the companion you have been seeking?What My Foster Says About Me:   She is super sweet and affectionate with people, a total snuggle bug who wants nothing more than to sit on the couch with you. Loves toys, plays very nicely, food motivated, and takes correction very easily. Curious. Eager to please. Very happy to be in the crate and quickly adopted it as her own space. She’s still working on house training and doing great with that!Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
