DAISY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!    Name:  Daisy          Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd/beagle mix  Best Guess for Age:  7 months as of May 2025        SEX: Female   Approximate Weight:  21 lbs as of 5/12/25–she likely has a bit more growing to do!   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at: DC area foster home   Daisy is Looking For:  Her forever home! This beautiful girl is out of her very youngest puppy days but still has all that awesome young-dog energy. She’s eager to have her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and exploring the world – she hasn’t seen nearly enough of it. She’d love to make pup pals along the way, too. Quality kibble, cushy dog beds, peanut butter-filled Kongs – yes, please. But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to know she’s safe and loved for all her days. What My Foster Says About Me:  Daisy is the sweetest little nugget!! She is such a ham who sees every lap as an opportunity to get cozy. She loves to cuddle and be held (as she deserves). She is very treat motivated and has the happiest little wiggly butt. She did great with my dog and took her cues well. She did good with dogs of all sizes at the event too! She never initiated play with my dog (because my dog absolutely did not want to play with her) but at the event she gave very polite play bows asking any fellow happy dog to play!  She is going to be the best girl for her forever home!!  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
