The caretaker noticed that something was very wrong with her tail and scooped her up and took her home. As it turned out, Daisy had what is called a degloved tail. Concerned, her foster mom got her in to see a veterinarian 2 days after Christmas. He recommended the dead tail be removed immediately. She underwent surgery and recovered very nicely. She now has just a cute little stub of a tail! Daisy loves people and enjoys high places where she can observe her surroundings. However, she is not a fan of other cats and should be adopted only into a single cat home.  Daisy has been vaccinated against rabies and distemper, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
