Meet Dakota! This handsome boy is very playful and makes the cutest little growling sounds when eating his wet food or catching the feather toy. He was very interested in the resident adult cats at his foster home and would likely do well in a home with other cats to play with. He was the perfect gentleman when using his litter box and was very tolerant of the five-year-old child in his foster family who played with him a lot.Dakota is available for preadoptionâ&#194&#128&#194&#148come meet them, fall in love and take them home after their spay/neuter surgeries!Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
