Dakota is an easy-going, aloof, sweet, and mellow gal for her breed! Despite her great temperament, her breed requires experienced breed or working breed handlers as they’re not the average dog owner. Miss Dakota walks nicely on the leash, takes treats gently, and has not shown interest in toys. While she takes a bit of time to warm up to you, she shows curiosity and eventually, accepts pets all over. Reading her, or any dog’s body language for that matter, is key to respect boundaries and comfortability. Most of her teeth are her great condition with the exception of the front teeth. Maybe it’s from chewing rocks or a poor diet, but they are pretty worn down. Poor Dakota must have gone through something, so putting her on a healthy diet will benefit her teeth and her health, especially, at her age!Dakota is a dog testing champion! Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles.
