Dani Pembroke, MA 'Tis time! Sanderson's eight little imps came into foster care as mere sprigs at approximately three weeks old, and are now ready to start finding their families. They have all been doing well with exposure to new objects, textures, environments, and people: all show an eagerness to explore and play. They have been your typical mouthy and active pups who love to run amok (amok, amok, amok!), and are seeking homes that will help them lead happy and fulfilled lives. Even the lowest-key of them will not be satisfied as a "fat contented housepup"! Momma Sanderson has been a friendly, sensitive girl and is settling in nicely here in foster. She's done a great job caring for her pups! Embark results on one puppy revealed they are primarily ACD with low percentages of several other breeds (apbt, husky, boxer, and aussie shepherd). This breed makeup appears accurate for all pups in the litter, so we feel it is unlikely there were multiple sires (but that's always a possibility). Mom is approximately 35lbs, and we estimate most pups will fall in a similar range. There are three females (Winifred, Sarah, and Mary) and five males (Max, Dani, Thackery Binx, Jay, and Ernie) in the litter. We are establishing some foundational skills here, including crate exposure and a verbal marker system for training, but as puppies they will need training for all the basics to grow great and powerful. Be warned: they will try to light Black Flame Candles without proper guidance. Pups are getting positive exposure to adult dogs, and should be fine with cats (particularly black cats) if integrated properly. Children 5+ should be okay for most of the litter, provided the home is dog-savvy with herder experience. The imps will be microchipped, up to date on deworming, and have age-appropriate vaccinations at time of adoption. They are being adopted out on spay/neuter contracts to allow their puppy bodies and minds more time to develop. They have an estimated birthday around 9/10/25, and will be ready for adoption beginning around 11/15/25. They must meet their potential families in person to help ensure a great match – please keep your location in mind when applying.
