Critter Details

Daniel is a gentle, sweet and affectionate 5 year old neutered male English Springer Spaniel.  He came from a GTA shelter where he was found as a stray and not claimed.  Initially, he was anxious and shy but with time this charming dude began greeting the shelter staff with tail wags, a wiggly bum, and the most adorable smile.   Now in foster, he continues to blossom. He is good in his crate and although may cry or bark a wee bit, he settles quickly and sleeps through the night.  He is comfortable in the car and travels well,  On top of the qualities of a perfect gentleman already mentioned, this smarty pants knows the commands to sit, down, come and give a paw.     He is currently being fostered with 3 other dogs.  He was reactive to the male dog at first, but has come around and is showing signs of calm and patience. He has been fine with the female.  He would need to meet any dog he might potentially live with in the future to make sure they are compatible.  He would be perfectly happy to be the only dog in the house.  He's housetrained – the foster parents are diligent with frequent scheduled outings    Daniel has oodles of energy and loves to run and explore the yard, play fetch, and splash in a kiddie pool.  Plenty of exercise is a must for this boy.  He is up to date on all vaccines and is chipped.  This fun loving guy has so much going for him and he can’t wait to find a family that loves adventure and afternoon romps in the backyard as much as he does!
