Darcy is an absolutely adorable 2-month-old Chi mix who is truly pocket-sized—currently weighing under 2 pounds! Despite her tiny frame, she has a big, bright personality and loves to play, especially splashing around in her water dish. Darcy came into rescue in Texas with severe skin issues, almost no hair, and parasites, but with proper treatment and lots of love, she is healing beautifully and blossoming into the cute, friendly puppy she was meant to be. Like any young pup, Darcy will need patience, guidance, and the usual puppy training to help her grow into a well-mannered companion. Darcy may be small, but the joy she brings is has no limit. Darcy is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 12/06/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 4:30pm and 8pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.  Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
