We pulled him from a local shelter because he potentially needed his eye removed. We learned that at this time that’s not a safe option, and his eye is more cosmetic than medical. We never send kitties back to shelters. So now we have an extra baby to love and care for, but that takes funding. Darren is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you are interested in this sweet little baby, put an application in to adopt. And please continue to vote for our babies. We are falling further behind today and now are over 600 votes out from moving back into 26th place. We have taken in over 600 animals in 2024, and we desperately need good adopters, fosters, and sponsors to keep the doors open.  We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help. It typically it cost us $60-80 to fully vet a feline and $80-120 to vet a canine depending on size and health conditions and sex.
