Howdy everyone, my name is Dash! I was born around August 2025 and impounded a couple months later with a fractured pelvis (ouch!) – thankfully SCP sprang me from the shelter and I recovered well in foster care after a month of cage rest.  In addition to being super cute I’m a resilient little dude, very confident, social and happy to show off my silly purrsonality everyday – plus now that I’ve healed I love zoomies and definitely live up to my name! I’m a big fan of other cats as playmates and need to have an active kitty buddy in my future home to help me burn off energy and stay out of mischief :) When I’m tuckered out from playtime I enjoy cuddles from my foster parents, I’d likely do fine with older considerate kids and perhaps a nice cat-friendly dog after a proper introduction. I can’t wait to find a fun forever family so if yours has an opening for an adorable, entertaining kitten please keep me in mind!  The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058).
