Meet Dayna! Dayna is a gorgeous 3-year-old Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees mix who’s fully vetted and ready to find her forever home. Like many of us, Dayna is on a little journey to reach her healthiest weight, but overall she’s in wonderful condition. She grew up with children, gets along well with other dogs, and has a calm, gentle temperament that makes her an easy fit for most families. Dayna is very much a house dog—not a working dog—and she loves being part of family life. With her long, beautiful coat, she’ll need regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a heart as golden as her fur, Dayna might just be the one for you! The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
