DELLA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Della and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (3/22) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)!   Name:  Della         Best Guess for Breed:  Retriever/shepherd mix Best Guess for Age:  2 years as of March 2026       SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  37lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home   Special adoption considerations: In certain home settings — where the environment might be loud or more intense — Della would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence.   Della is Looking For:   Her forever home! This pretty girl is out of puppyhood and has got all that awesome young-dog energy. She is eager for romps and all the adventures her new humans can dream up. Making pup pals along the way would be great. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed – yes, those too! But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. Della has so much to give to her humans – adoring gazes, love, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say?
