Hello, my name is Dexter! I am a 6 week old domestic short hair kitten that weighs approx. 1.5lbs. I was found with my mom and siblings under a pallet in the Lowes warehouse in Rockwall on 6/9/25. My mom has taken really good care of myself and my siblings and we are now officially old enough to find our FURever homes! I am currently on both canned/dry kitten food and I am using the litter box well. I will need a family that has the time and patience to help me grow up to be the best kitty I can be. My adoption fee is $75 which includes my neuter, rabies, microchip, first FVRCP vaccine, and dewormer. I am currently available for pre-adoption and will be able to go home with my adoptive family on 8/1/2025. I will be required to return to RAC at the age of 12 weeks for my neuter and rabies vaccine. The date is non-negotiable and is a part of the adoption contract.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
